What can I use to plug up extra holes left from Type R spoiler???
Ok, before you guys ask, I already did a search, and did not come up with too much... I just installed an OEM ITR spoiler on my 2000 GS-R, and now am confused as to what is the best thing to use to cover up the two extra holes that are now exposed.... I want something temporary, so painting is out of the question.. So far, I have them covered with white electrical tape, so it will match my car... Will I be fine with just that?? Will the tape keep water from getting in the holes?? I went to home depot, and tried to find some rubber plugs, but was not able to find any there...
For those of you that did the ITR spoiler conversion on your integras, what is the best temporary cover for the holes?? And will I be fine with covering them electrical tape???
Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!
Thanks

find some rubber pieces that fit in the holes...my buddy used electrical tape...i think he plans on always using it to ...lazy bastard haha
I also have electrical tape, but i'm wingless. I also need to fill in my holes. I think i'm going to run to home depot and look for plugs of all sizes and see what works. I am afraid they won't have plugs small enough for the small holes. Electrical tape is working good so far
there are these plastic fillers you can get a home depot or OSH... get the diameter size and you are set!

Just curious, but how did you end up with 2 extra holes after installing the ITR spoiler? My ITR spoiler just bolted right up to the existing holes my GSR spoiler left.

Yours used all 6 holes? (3 on each side)
Mine ITR spoiler left 2 unused holes (1 on each side) that I had to cover. My spoiler came with plugs!

i cut out some pieces of carbon fiber and honda bonded them on...it would probably look better on a black car than on my silver car, but i reall don't care how it looks..i just didn't want water to get into the holes and make my trunk into a fish tank...maybe someday i'll get them filled right.

I don't think they do. I am pretty sure they don't. Correct me if I am wrong.

They're talking about the LEDs from the stock LS/GS/GSR spoiler. The passenger side hole is from the brake light wire, the drivers side hole is from something kind of like a bolt.

I just spent all freakin day in Home Depot and didn't find ****. I also stopped in at lowes. Neither place had associates that would help at all. Care to tell me where in HD you can find these? I hate having electrical tape on the holes...

I guess I should just give up and leave the tape on. I don't want to weld them over because I probably won't want to stay wingless forever. Maybe i'll just get an ITR wing

I heard that! Clone, baby.
Hey, I used electrical tape. You can barely notice it because it sits flush, unlike those plugs.
