You could get a fake Mugen 4 point bar off ebay for like 50 shipped. Mounts in 4 places and just as rigid
I run one on my hatch and like it better than the ITR bar

Was I replying to you? No. I was replying to Emerika (hence the reason I replied to his post and quoted his post). He will know what I am talking about.

lol you're right. this isn't a discussion forum for anyone put you. It was a joke regarding his unique selection of what he considers upgrades, one of them a part of this post.
I wasn't aware that you were the walking, talking ToS. Next time I'll IM you before I post anything to make sure you approve.
BTW, your car is a USDM 1995 Integra LS, not a JDM ITR

yes it is, considering he does not have a strut bar on his car
And sturut bars are a LOT different than wheels. I think most people agree with me that Enkei makes better wheels than Rota

that fake mugen **** is just getto, where does it mount to 4 points? is it because you can put for nuts to screw it down with? because if that is it then the itr one has it too. thats just cheap looking fake stuff.

it mounts to the shock mounting bolts and the factory holes for a strut bar
thought you could see in this pic, but I guess not

I'm just trying to give the guy a cheaper alternative, which from my experience, is better then the stock ITR bar and feels just as good as a Mugen front bar. I've had them all. I'll take the 50 dollar bar and call it a day

FWIW, I don't run a strut bar at all. I see no need to and noticed no difference. I'm sure it makes one, but not that I noticed so it wasn't worth the time to tighten those four nuts.
And I bent my Enkei's (stock wheels) on a medium size pothole, it took a 40mph curbing to bend my rota. There is a reason I support Rota's, it's not because they look like bling bling forged wheels.

The Type R STB is Just Fine and for 80 shipped is a great price. The Fake MUGEN is fine I wouln't get it. Both have 4 mounting points so Where is that argument coming from?

strangely when I removed my front bar the car felt unstable at highway speeds, which was very unexpected... as for mounting this fake bar on 4 points, i still don't see it.. i see it mounting with 4 studs, but not 4 points
sil-who needs eyes checked?

now I see what you guys are calling mounting points (which doesn't make sense to me).. okay, then how many 'points' is the surface it's mounted to then?..

FWIW, I dont agree with you
The fake Mugen bar is more solid than I would expect, but I would still take the OEM R bar over it...not that I notice much of a difference with any of the above anyway.

To get back to the original post....
Ask the buyer for some pics of the mounting brackets and a side shot of the bar itself.
The mounting brackets should be graphite colored.
The side view of the bar show vertical support beams inside the bar.
BTW: I love all the "butt-skidpad" handling assessments of how much these bars help your car handle on the street.
FWIW: I bought a geniune oem front strut brace from a local R owner and couldn't feel a thing on the street.
