Im going to be purchasing a DC Sports JDM 4-1 header but i had a few questions before i ordered it. On the inlinefour.com site it asks if i want to order it 'with gasket/flange'. Now im a little confused, if i dont order it with the flange, does the header end like a bare pipe? If it does, would it be cheaper to buy a flange from my local muffler shop and have them weld it on? -- its an extra $85. Stupid question, i know, but TIA.

 

They are talking about a Flange to adapt it to a carsound cat or equivalant.
