16 or 17 inch rims on an 88 CRX HF???
I'm in the market for some rims on my 88 CRX HF. I know that 16's can go on easily with the stock setup, but how about 17's? I'm most likely going to put new shocks and lowering springs on to drop it no more than 2 inches. If i do this suspension work, will i be able to put 17's on with no problem? how about tire rub and would i need to worry about the tire hitting the top of the wheel well? Some one said i would need a camber kit but i didn't know if it was a must for the 17's...if i do need a kit for the 17's how hard is the kit to install? THANKS!!!

What does rolling your fenders entitle? Is it hard? CRXtreme27, do you have a drop on your car? I've heard of 17's fitting on and looking good, but i didn't know if they would fit easily on a lowered car...with no more than a 2" drop. THANKS!!!
Rolling your fenders is when you stick a baseball bat in the gap between your rim and fender and roll the lip around your fender.... I have my 17s with almost a 3" inch drop.... i have ground controls and they are almost all the way down.... by the way, the tire i am using is 205/40/17, i think 205 would be the widesst you can go...
