Default homebuilt exhaust.. should I use flex coupler? Also, which muffler for B18A1

I'm looking at building my own 2.25" exhaust for my LS powered civic...

Should I weld in one of those flex-pipes after the header? I have place racing motor mounts, so I'd expect less engine movement than stock.

anyone have suggestions for a muffler which sounds good with the B18A motor?

Thnx!

my friend's got the same set-up. flex would work if ur trying to mate the down pipe with civic oem/aftermarket exhaust system but since ur doing everything from scratch...just do all solid.

Something has to go in there to give or something else will. Put a flex or a joint of some kind in below the engine.

Nah, You dont need one. Place racnig mounts will hold your motor. So I would expect minimal movement.
