HF and Si gauge clusters

HF and Si gauge clusters
Well, when i bought my 89' Civic Si, the previous owner told me that the thing caught on fire and the dash had to be replaced.
The replacement dash was from an HF CRX and it has a shitty little gauge cluster with no tach.
Will a standard si gauge cluster with tach fit into an HF dash?

I could have swore all HF's came with a tachometer and they also had a little shiftlight built in that would let you know when to shift for the best MPG.
Sounds like you got a STD/DX cluster... even though some DX came with tach.

The following concerns 88-91 model years only.
All CRX's came with tachs. Civic Si's all came with tachs. Civic 3D STDs and DX's did not come with tachs, but they may have been available as an option. All Civic 4D LXs and EXs came with tachs, I do not know about the DX.
