Yesterday me and my friend were out picking my car up from the body shop. I was in my dads miata and he was in my GSR. We got the light together looked at each other and decided to go.My radar detector didnt go off so I was like ok this is cool. About a half a mile down the road i see this car speeding up after us and my detector ids going off so Im like ****. I rip it down this side street and he passes me and nabs my friend. Im freekin out at this point and have no idea what to do so I lay low. He calls me up like 10 mins later and is like dude they need you here now they know its you cuz it was my car and they looked up our family car list. SO Im like ultra fucked. I go back and was talking to the cops and bam he slaps cuffs on me and throws me in the back seat of his car. Took me down to the station and gave me alludeing a cop, racing and wreckless, my friend got wreckless and racing but no allueding. So im pretty much fucked. I havent told my parents yet and Im fearing that too much right now. I NEED HELP BADLY. What can I do to get the allueding charge lowered to a non criminal charge and the other two tickets lowered. Also does anyone know any good lawyerrs in the Central Jersey Region. Please help me. I dont need any grief from anyone so shity comments not welcome. I never race on the strret, I def learned my lesson and dont want to suffer later on in life.

aslong as you didnt confess to anything they said.. nor did your friend.. 2 words are better then 1 say you were speeding or something.. but not racing or tryign to get away from him just stick with saying.. we was in a hurry to get home since we just got the car out of the shop ....stick with that.. with you and your friend and they should drop everything and give you a speeding ticket instead, atleast you can take that off your record..

 

ouch, doesn't look like much you can do...the cop knows you sped up to try to get away so i don't see how you can get the avoiding charge taken away.

Maybe you could fight the racing, but even with your friend there, most courts/cops don't believe younger people at all.

why are u sorry to hear about this? its his damn fault...im not sayin im perfect but if ur gonna break the law dont bitch when u get caught...and whats up w/sayin cops are all bitches...for the most part they serve and protect ur *** everyday...im that heavly offends me b/c im trainin to be a cop...i dont sympathize w/u at all on ur situation dude...and i wasn't gonna make a negative comment like u requested until i heard this *** talk.... for your actions, ur sympathizers, and this post...i say: IN BEFORE THE LOCK
