Default zc siezed engine.....help

about a day after my turbo install on my crx with a built zc, the engine wouldn't start. I tried a few starters with no luck. I tried turning the crank shaft with the car in nutral and wheels off the ground, with no luck. I had noticed that the compression in the 2nd cylinder was lower than the others by about 20psi and there was some oil on the spark plugs. any suggestions on how to determine if my engine is infact seized? Steps that i should go through to avoid having to take the engine back out? thanks guys

Are you getting spark? Could be ignition coil etc... but if the motor doesnt turn freely or with at least a little force, then its fucked and you will need to turn the crank at a machine shop.

ok, yeah, its getting spark......yes the starter works fine. I just put an impact gun on there and its not budging. Ok, so what are the steps to getting the engine rebuilt.

remove the engine
tear it apart
head should be ok right?
hopefully pistons and rods are ok
i guess i will need new rings
new rod berrings
new main berrings
ballance and turn crank
new gaskets/seals

any other help would be appreciated

impact guns are specially made so they wont turn things like that. take out your spark plugs and turn it with a breaker bar or a ratchet and it should turn.

What suggestions are you looking for? Persoanlly the ZC's are cheap, I'd jus grab another for 525 instead of trying to rebuild it. Unless you want to "build" it for some higher comp or boost, then you'll be replacing all the junk anyway.

I need some suggestions on weather its a better idea to buy another zc and put my pistons/rods into that one or if my engine is salvagable and could be rebuilt for cheeper. while i have it out, i will probably want to sleeve it. are there any things that i can check to see the extent of the damage without removing the engine? thanks

Sometimes, actually a lot of times, when engines seize up, is because they get too hot, and when you turn them off, it actually fuses things together. Usually, its the main bearings though. Heh, I'd recomend a new engine....
