does the 6th gen V6 have transmission problems like the Acura TL V6?
I know the Acura has a lousy transmission for the same model years. Since the TL is a glorified Accord, are the transmissions the same?

i have seen various reports of the transmission dropping to second gear at high speeds and causing the vehicle to crash, but that is in very extreme cases. Usually they just fail after about 60000 miles.

Go to major Honda forums and you'll see many 6th gen. Accord tranny failures. Not as bad as the TL/CL auto tranny models but still too many to count for those cars being a Honda.
