Default stripping the block

im trying to strip my b18c down to a bare block, but i dont have a crank pulley wrench. is there any way to remove the crank without a pulley wrench? jw. thanks.

i believe we tried an impact, and it turned the whole crank. should i spray it down with some liquid wrench and try again?

yes, and tap on it so that the liquid wrench sets into the bolt.

Dont be afraid to lay into it. That ****** is on there.

alright. also... i have this cylinder head i got, and its been sitting there for a while and accumulated some dust. how do i go about cleaning the dust off so i can use it again?

Default

compressed air and lint free towels to clean the head. Also use something wedged inbetween the crank pulley and block to keep it from spinning. I always use a huge screwdriver. Although, thats on a chevy v8 that i did that one on. But it should work
