Okay, sorry if this has been covered before but I did do a search. Anyways, I know there has to be some way to make my hu (Alpine 9807)display the title of my songs and cd title. I know you can go in and manually type in everything with the **** on the hu, but is there a way I can type in all the cd information on my computer and then make the cd. I heard something about ISO level 2 and using a data dics. I also heard when you put the titles of the songs on the cd, the hu display can display more than 8 characters. Will this work?All I want is to have the title of my cd and song titles appear when I put the cd in and not have to manually type everything in. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

 

does the HU support CD text?

if so just use nero to burn your cd's and theres an option to burn cd text to the cds.

 

well to change through what the deck displays, like track time, title, hit the blue "DISP/TITLE" button on the bottom right corner of your deck. The cd has to have cd text on it, other wise it will only display track 01, etc... regardless.

 

Hey. I just figured it out. I have and option on my cd burner that says "burn for mp3 player."I LOVE IT!!!!It took 10 minutes literally to burn 185 songs on 1 cd. Damn I love this. I tested it out on my alpine hu and it displays all the characters for the song title and cd title and etc...... Anyone looking into getting a hu, get one with mp3 playback because it is sooooo awesome!!Damn i am so happy now 180 fawkin songs on 1 cd with crystal clear playback!
