Hello everyone. Trying to figure out the speaker size on my 1998 Honda Accord EX Sedan. I think it is 6.5 and a 1 " tweeter in the dash, right? What kind of speakers do you all have. I was thinking of getting MB Quart component system, anyone have any suggestions for good sound. Probably just have my high powered deck running the fronts, but I probably better running an amp to, right? For the back I was looking at also MB Quart, 6 x 9's. They too have a sparate crossover for each speaker. Now those speakers I will definately be running a good amp to. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

yes, the front speakers are 6.5. MB Quarts are quality speakers. I was planning to get them too but don't have the $$$ right now. Good luck on your system.

 

Just be careful of the mounting depth of the 6.5 inch speaker in the door. YOu may need to make a space out of MDF so that the window doesn't hit it on the way down.

 

Thanks! I just went to place here, so had the new MBQ RCE216's for a good price, so I bought them and I am having them install them. That way I will get a 3 year warranty, verus the one year if I install them myself. It looks like that tweeter in the dash would be difficult to install. I like the new MBQ RCE 6x9's for the rear, look great too. They have their own crossovers too. But they wanted $316.00 for these. I decided to wait on these. I will let you know how they sound. Tomorrow I get these installed.
