Hi there...I'm looking to purchase the JDM center console for my EG coupe, but I've heard from others that it will not fit corectly.

Others say that the JDM center console has a different bend since it's off a RHD car, and they say that I should look for a USDM center console..


is that true???

well im an EH owner, but it is rumored that the JDM audio console fits but it leans more to the USDM driver side to make more room for the driver in JDM land

the USDM console leans to the passenger side

 

For your information bro..the JDM center console DO NOT FIT the USDM (92-95)civic cause is made for the right hand drive and the bracket inside does not fit the nuts and bolts..correctely...........i know cause i once had one and it didnt fit worth of ****....haha....i even bought it brand new (HONDA ACCESS of JAPAN) i even try to make it fit but it wont.......so i sold it.....So for you just get a USDM one (HONDA OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT)....and enjoy......hope this helps...

thanks for the info man, but the center console that was Optional on USDM civics, what year and model specificly would them be on???

also...where would I be able to get my hands on the USDM console??

the year would be 92-95 audio console for civic..it would fit....all the console for that model year car would fit..just depend what color you want (grey or black) and you can check on ebay..they have some... or some honda dealer online....

what console are you buying...the AUDIO CONSOLE or just a regular one with a ash tray......if you are buying just the regular console with a tray then like the one in your picture...then i think jdm one would fit........but if you are buying the audio console one then it wont....
