diy: hood latch cable relocation
As some of you know, my fender is fucked up and it looks like this
The hood latch cable was exposed and it gets me very paranoid knowing that someone can slit the cable and open my hood easily
I even moved it to the passenger side
I didn't zip tie anything yet but you get the idea

you must be thinking of evil lovebuzz13 or something....
I would rather have my hood cable still attached to the factory lever. But good thinking rerouting it.

i dont kno how it woudl work in the glove area.. it was just an idea.. maybe if you hook it up some how where you drill a hole on the inner glove area and put the metal end through it and just have it stickign inside the glove or wire it up to where you put a hole on the glove comp. itsself and slide the end inside sidesways and it should stay in there so when you pull the glove it will pull the wire
prolly doesnt make any sense..i think some1 can elaborate for me tho

btw I didn't feel **** for the grounding kit</TD></TR></TABLE>
I just took a screw driver, stuck my hand up in the bumper, and felt around in the hood popping mechanism and then just pushed around, and it popped. Too easy in my opinion.

gmoore do you think it's worth the time to install something like a piece of metal under the latch to prevent hood opening by the use of anything but the latch cable?
