90 Acura Integra Front brakes on 89 crx si NEED HELP!!
Alright. I unbolted the 3 balljoints, swapped brake lines, steering knuckles, rotors and pads. I have a slightly annoying and dangerous problem. My car is lowered 2 inch, and i have a camber kit. the Upper control arm is hitting the frame. I have the Integra ones, Should i put them on and get an alignment. looking at the integra one looks like it would move the arm back away from the frame. Need an answer ASAP. Please help. Thanks in Advance. Please I already know abou the 90-91 EX spindles but here in Lousiana, I have no luck.
I have heard of ppl doing what your talking about no problem. Try and mess with the camber kit a bit and see if that helps. If not, raise your car up.
Which camber kit do u have? i have a friend with a 89 hatch and his upper arms hit the frame too. He says he has the progress kit but he has black bushings in his. I know for sure im using the progress kit and mine have yellow bushings and i have NO problems. Maybe he somehow bought the car with integra upper arms??? lemme know what camber kit u have...
I'm using a Dropzpne camber kit. I'm going to try install the integra upper control arms and see what happens.
Well i went out and removed the wheels. The passenger side is free and clear of the frame. How ever the driver side is a little close for comfort, you can slide an I.D. card between frame and upper a arm. Tuesday is the earliest I can get an alignement.
