what can be put into this car for a engine? i want something with more power and mainly to get rid of the stock carbed engine.. and also not looking to spend a load of cash on this

 

If you can find one, a jdm B20A* from a 86-87 Prelude or 86-89 Accord should bolt right in with the stock mounts. Then you'll need all the wiring and fuel lines and stuff from a 2.0Si (shouldn't be hard to find one at a junk yard to use for parts).

* Note: the B20A from 86-87 ludes and 86-89 accords is different than the B20A's from 88-91 preludes. It's rated at 160PS and wasn't available in the US (we had the A20A for those years)

this should help you. but you can pullpower out of your ET-2 motor aswell

 

so i need to get a B20A.. or can i just find a 2.0Si? and with the B20A can i put a Vtec head on it? If so what one?

 

you will not find a B20A if you do it will be an automatic. so you better off swaping a b16 in or building a A20A sohc.

 

ok i am getting different suggestions.. can you all just tell me what i need for each one..
