Default 4th Gen 4WS Problems

4WS warning light remains on whilst driving. I have had it reset by Honda dealer but it came back on about a month later. Is there any way to reset it myself or will I have to replace the expensive (UK £'s) controller? I enjoyed the 4WS experience while it lasted so any help/advice would be gratefully received. Thankyou.

i'm not sure about 4ws..but normall all honda systems have a reset switch ..
it usually looks like a female plug..

wich u only short ..
if u are certain that there is nothing wrong with the 4WS
just look near the 4ws computer and try to locate a way to reset it..

did u see how honda dealers do that ?

u may want to ask ur dealer how to do it urself..i'll tell u that u need the computer but u usually don't..

hope it helps

Thanks for the advice.

I located the connector and shorted it with a paper clip but all I got was a series of flashing lights on the 4ws light. This I assume is an error code but the first sequence is to fast and numerous to count, the code I presume is a something 2.

I am now puzzled as I only have a Chiltons' manual which is pretty poor on detail!

Cheers!

Any ideas?
