Class questions for the 2nd gen CRX SI
E Prepared is the correct prepared class. they used to be a force to be reckoned with in CSP, but now miata owners can completely remove their top, losing even more weight. i suspect if you built a motor that made enough tractable power and wasn't completely peak power and had a suspension to boot you could give the vette's a run for their money in SM2
Ahh yes, I remember racing my stock motor'd CRX Si in CSPT class ( C class, street prepared, street tire). I would usually take home the fastest time of the day in my class.........if there were no Miatas attending that day.....hehehehe.
AM or PM ?
PM (Pre-Miata) the CRX was one of the top dogs....
AM (After-Miata) the CRX becomes a puppy
None the less, I love the 88-91 CRX's and will continue competing with them!!
