Throwout bearing going?
about 2-3000 mi ago i started to notice this creeking sound when the car is off when i have the clutch to the floor. but now the sound is much worse it still can only be heard when the car is off, but the sound is constant and it makes noise while pushing it in and letting it out. somebody told me it was the throwout bearing, if so how much would it cost to replace that. or are there any other possible problems. thanks guys
my friends got a serious loud case of this on his teg gsr....it could be the throwout bearing. i also told him it could be the clutch fork, and mmmmaybe the bearing jus needs to be relubed? whatever it is it should be fairly cheap to fix unless your havin someone else do im then its gonna be hella
I have the same thing. The clutch still works so I'm leaving it be until I pull the motor. It's pretty loud so I doubt that it would be the throwout bearing.
only one way to tell take it out and inspect is it hard to shift at all? cause mine does the same thing when i try to shift it used to do that now it makes a baby creek. Thats what happenes when you have crappy so called mechanics work on your car.
