Default Putting in an intake need help...

I have a 96 accord ex vtech and i was trying to put in my intake yesterday. I got everything out except for this little box to the left of the battery. I'm not sure what this box is or what it does, but it has plugs that plug into it. I was kind of sceptical as to should I take it out or not.

What is this box and do I need it?

Does anyone have any step by step instructions to putting in my intake?

hmm, im not sure but i have a 02 accord and the area that you are talking about was the resistor. I thinkkkkk. You should search online for pictures of your engine bay and figure out what everything is. I wouldnt unplug things that i didnt know what they were for. good luck

What intake do you have? If it's an AEM CAI, then you have to remove the airbox. To remove the remaining, or the bottom of the air box you have to crawl under the car and remove 2, or 3 screws from underneath the car.

I'm surprised that the intake didn't come with an instruction manual.

The box is designed to reduce noise pollution.

Hope it helps...
