300 HP = greddy type s or type r bov????
i would go 1st gen dsm.....guys run them on 400 hp cars, they work awesome and for 40 bucks its worth every penny....the dsm 1g bov was probablly the best bov ever produced...nissan used them on skylines and simlar designs of subarus....just my 2 cents
yeah 1st gen dsm is a good design especially with the crushed top
if you already have a flange though i know the type S can handle that much power but if you want to upgrade then the type r is fine too

not necessarily... hehehe
i think the matter about bov's is about boost levels as well anyway

horsepower has nothing to do with the bov. you can make 300 whp @ 9 psi if you wanted, in that case you'd need a type S... if you were making 300whp @ 18 psi, you'd need the type R.
The required BOV is based on boost, not hp.
