Default Help!!! b16a swap and hesitates on acceleration

I just had a b16a1 swap done and we don't know why it jerks around. The check engine light comeson and off, ecu codes come and go. The wiring was checked 10 times over, just put 93 octane in and still jerks around. When I get on the gas, the car hesitates for a second then just blasts off or if I'm cruisin in 4th I can feel a little hesitation then too. What could be the problem????

i had the EXACT SAME PROBLEM....i replaced everything from the fuel filter, distributor cap and rotor, sparrk plugs and everyting....THEN i got my hands on a new ecu....and IMEDIATELY my car stopped bogging....my car did the exact same ****......dude replace that ECU and i guarantee your **** will problably stop bogging.....i have this setup....'91 crx si jdm b16a, i/h/ tanabe exhaust, vafc, jun ecu gsr cams etc.....im pretty sure thiswill help....i paid the extra money for the jun ecu but just get a regular b16 ecu cause i heard sometimes they can get damaged when they get shipped....so try that and i hope it works!

my car still does it, the reason is usually when using a pwo or pr3 ecu they look for 2 o2 sensors ,so make sure u have both, and the wires in the ecu are in opposite possitions i believe (could be wrong) its c8 and c16 that have to be switched. try that before u buy a new ecu

thanks..I'ma check on those sensors. Hopefully the ecu that came with it wasn't damaged. By the way if it turns out to be the gas that I had in there, about how long would it take for the higher octane to hopefully fix the problem?
