are my Gun-metal GSR wheels from the factory???
ok so ive noticed that on all the 2000 gsr's that ive seen the stock rims are all polished and i was wondering if my rims are rare, or if i just got really lucky. OR did the previous owner do something? -thanks

brushed aluminum... it looks like they were compounded and buffed. The mirror chrome scratches easily so the guy probably had them buffed down.. They look good nonetheless.
definitely rule out a diy guys... they are way too perfect.
i think IntEGNYC has the right idea if it is indeed not factory...
Anyone want to verify what P1mpslap suggested??????

I'm calling DIY. If you look at the finish on the center cap, it doesn't match the rest of the wheel. It didn't come from the factory like that, IMO.
All the swirlies I've ever seen have looked chrome almost.

looks like one of my gunmetal rear wheels. thats what happens when the finish is stripped off when a wheel shop says they replaced your rims but the truth is its repaired
i bet if air craft paint remover is sprayed on the stock rims this yould be the end result.

Yah if it turns out Acura never had a rim like above it is a flawless job. They really look like they could have come from the factory. I guess there's no confirmation on P1mpslap's suggestion?????

couldn't be, there's nothing on OEM GS-R blade wheels except clearcoat over the polished aluminum.
