94 accord major ac problems!!
I have a 94 accord ex. I replaced my comp, expansion valve. dryer and my expansion core. I am still running high head pressure any ideas? The shop evacuated the system 2 times. The second time for 3 hrs. Thanks all
they could be over charging the car
does it cut in and out?
could be some blockage cuased by something that failed such as the compressor here is what you should have the shop do:
1. Blow compressed air through all of the parts that were not replaced such as the condensor, high and low pressure lines, evaporator, etc
2. reassmeble system with a new receiver dryer
3. Place system on a vacume for at least 8 hours
4. properly charge and test for leaks (if the system held a vaccume, then there should be no leaks). If there are any leaks, repair them........

Sounds like the shop you are going to SUCKS! Just like YeuEmMaiMai said, have them test it for vacuum. They should also inject a green dye into the system that will show ANY leaks in the A/C system so that is it easy to find out what part(s) are malfunctioning.
unless there is some serious blockage or a leak, the condenser should never have to be replaced...I would ask the shop for some $$$ back and then take it to a HONDA dealer....
