Well as a newbie I need to learn everything about my car as much as I can. I've heard a lot of people talk about their engine throwing codes. What does that mean?
And how do you read codes from a 94 integra?
Man I have to ask or if not I'll stay in the dark....

A code is something used to find out what is wrong, which sensor is bad etc.. Its basically an identification to the problem that your ECU will provide for you when something is wrong. Normally when your check engine light is on you can check the code by attaching a jumper wire on the plug located near the ECU. Turn the key off, attach the jumper and turn the key to the on position. Count the number of blinks without pauses, and this number will correspond to the code. The code will correspond with the problem.
in other words
its called
OBD= on board diagnostics
obd0= before 1992
obd1= 92-96
obd2= 97 and on
so the computer reads all the sensors and when it does not get the
right signal it will "throw a code"

Dont they have OBD2.5 or something like that now? I was told they come on the new Civic Si's and the RSX's... just curious if that was bullshit being feed to me, or true. Something about being able to get a "playback" of how the car was performing before a problem such as a blow, for warrantee purposes.

99-01 integras and 99-00 civics have obd2.5. anything later than that has it too.
