Default k20 ?

i have a 94 teg, will the k20 fit in my car?i bet you could make it fit with enough mods done.it would probably be hard to do but that motor has so much potential that it would be worth it.i think ill try it when im out of school(wyotech high performance and chasis fab.) if any knows please respond.

its not a basic drop in, you need custom mounts and a patient person to figure out how to do the wiring, you will also need to figure something out about your axles.

It's for Super Street magazine. We just finished making the mounts and the motor is in, but needs some minor adjustments on the mounts still, before we attempt the wiring, etc. So it's definitely possible.....

you can't just use the k20 ecu and wiring?did u use the k20 axles?what does the rsx-r have that the type-s doesn't?i think this motot is going to be a good one, i have heard as much as 320-360 hp on all motor engines, thats what im talking about. ill be working as an acura tech next june maybe i should get a rsx but i like my 4 door without the big car payment.

Im sure if you were to put an rsx engine in a teg it would cost way too much to be worth it. I dont think the axles would fit its a whole different suspension on the rsx. But thats just my opinion. Just spend that money on a crazy all motor setup.

I've heard you can just use Teg axles, but I've haven't got to do this swap myself yet... The wiring won't be all that bad, just make sure your OBD1-OBD2b (for the OBD1 Tegs) jumper has the I-VTEC wiring, etc... If you choose to run a standalone then that's where it becomes easier but harder... I've done FAST wiring on streetcars and we'll be doing some MOTEC stuff too but I'm just not all sure how we control the "intelligent VTEC" cam advance/retard... Oh well, I'm working on figuring that out now so maybe one day I'll get it... Good Luck to all of you... Latez

a turbo sohc d-series will make more power (stock) then a k20.

Save your money!

I was putting down ~210-220whp at 12psi with a stock ecu and an apex afc.

this had been stated twice already and i dont see how it is relevant since the k20 wont bolt up to the B-Series tranny's so that means that your gonna swap the k20 with the matching tranny IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION (I.M. toward the front bumper) and the wheels will spin in the needed direction!
