Dyno Results -> 216whp/171wtq
So went to the dyno yesterday to tune my V-AFC. Came up with some decent results.
I managed to pull
216hp@7400rpms SAE
171tq@5600rpms SAE

Temp was 83 degrees F and the power correction factor was about 1.055
I was pretty happy with the runs considering this is my full street setup...this is with a catalytic coverted that crap dual stage manifold, and no cam gear tuning.
I have the entire data readout, so I will be constructing some graphs tonight to post up. A/F is decent but I need to fine tune it still.
Setup:
Intake
AEM CAI 2.75", K&N Cone Filter
64mm TB , IM ported to 64mm
Hondata IM Gasket
Fuel and Ignition
AEM FPR
Stock Fuel Rail
Stock Fuel
Stock Fuel Filter
RC 370cc injectors
Stock Ignition and Coil
TechTom P72 (like a hondata)
Apexi V-AFC
Head
H22A1 head ported by Top Power Racing
Valves deshrouded, head milled back 10 thou
Crower Stage 3 cams
Skunk2 cam gears
Jun Valvesprings
Jun Titanium Retainers
Block
H22A4 Block
89mm Iron Sleeves for 2.3L displacment
H22A4 stock crank, H22A4 crank 55mm mains
Crower ProBillet H22A I-Beam Rods
ENDYN Rollerwave 11.89:1 pistons and rings
Stock Head Gasket bored to 89mm
Prodrive oil pump gears
Power Enterprise Super Strong Timing Belt
H23 manual tensioner
Balancer belt still on
Stock pullies
Removed A/C compressor
Exhaust
Trust/Greddy SS Header
Random Technologies High Flow Cat
Greddy Power Extreme 2.5" catback
Drivetrain
Clutchmasters Ultralight Flywheel
Clutchmasters stage 3 clutch
Accord Euro-R Transmission w/ LSD
1-3.285
2-2.090
3-1.481
4-1.071
5-0.812
F-4.266
ES motor mounts
Keep in mind the LSD causes a good size drivetrain loss too
As you can see from the setup there are lots of ways to gain power...I'll get to that probably over next winter

Nice numbers. If you play with the cam gears some you could probably squeeze out a few more horses. Other than that you have a pretty solid setup..
nice #s on just a vafc. and torque is very good. same as 2point6.
yea like mentioned above u should get hondata. and you should be able to release some extra Hp.

The Techtom is like a hondata in that you can adjust fuel and timing, but in one shot only..like the chip costs $700, so you only burn it once. It was previously done with the old H23 VTEC stroker motor. So while the tune is similar it's not right for this motor. So I have the V-AFC to adjust the fuel.
My main drawback is that I can't improve my timing at this point. It kinda sucks cause I was running 14+ A/F at wide open and I wasn't detonating or anything, which tells me I have a fair bit of room to advance timing...oh well...A/F is 13.0-13.7 now.

Here's a graph I made in this graphing program with all the datapoints...I will figure how to add an airfuel and add that next
....added to first post
You can see that with some cam gear tuning and a better IM I could get a higher peak power

oh and i need a ride again im itching

A little too much....I get noooooo traction right now but it's a ton of fun on the highway

The greddy is nice....but I agree if you look at the simple size of it should be considered somewhat restrictive for an all out setup....
I think intake and exhaust are my main restrictions...I need a better Intake Manifold, a bigger header eventually and to run a test pipe.

More or less..
Corey - who is spoiled w/ a SMSP 4th prototype.
