you can feel a slight difference on ek hatch's but i don't see how they'd benefit a coupe or sedan with a deck connected to your c pillars.

this is not a rollbar.

more like a harness bar.

Am I missing something in the picture or does that Carbing bar mount with just one bolt and those ~8" long aluminum strips?

If it does, I can't imagine that thing being very strong at all. I mean, I know it's JDM, but....

wow... interesting replies....

*the pic I posted was of a C Pillar bar AND a rollbar.

*also the Carbing bar pic looks like the end pieces are angle stock so the do have minimal bracing in the sideways direction... not much... but I trust Carbing as a reputable brand.

Okay, so here's my question.

Everyone says that they can feel the difference with the C-pillar bar, but will there be any difference on a car already equipped with a four point roll bar? I know Yoshi is running both, but I want to hear some other people talk about the subject. Will having a roll bar make the c-pillar bar useless?

I was running both a rollbar and a c-pillar in my ek hatch, and i still felt a difference when i took out the c pillar and put it back in.
http://www.emracing.com has some pics of c pillars installed on some dc2's

No. Wasn't trying to be a dick....I've just honestly never seen a brace that mounts in an 'X' shape. It was a genuine statement.

The closest I've seen to something like that is the emracing bar. But that one only has one bar (not two).

<--hates the internet's inability to convey emotion.

there really no need for it on a coupe, you have the speaker tray portin bridging the c pillars together in a way.
