Heater/climate control fan problems.
Ok. I did a search, and read a few posts, but I just thought I should make this clear for myself by asking you people.
I have a 1991 CRSsi.
Renently, my heater/cooler fan for my climate control system has crapped out. When I turn it onto high, I can hear it trying to spin, but it just sounds really weak and pathetic. It makes little noises, but other then that, it does not spin hard and push the air like it should.
So obviously, its probably on its last leg.
Now, my question is, is it the fan motor that will need replacing? And are there any other parts that perhaps could be causing the problem? I have never took apart the fan system before, but from reading other posts, I think its located behind the glove box correct?
Does anybody have a diagram showing disasambly?
Any other tip about this repair job would be helpful.
Thanks.
