Can you change OBD2 to OBD2 for gsr?

I have a 96 gsr and i wonder if i can change OBD2 to OBD1? What I heard is that OBD1 react to modification faster than OBD2. Is that true?

umm i dont see why it would.. the difference is just another o2 in the cat

You just need a harness adapter. groupbuycenter.com has them for $160. The benefit is that the OBD1 ecu's are more easily chip-able and tuneable. Whereas obd2 are not so easy or cost effective to chip.

I went to the shop yesterday and they told me that my car was OBD1 is that true.
1996 acura integra gsr?

no thats not true. obd1 is 95 and under.
