....Im installing some 6.5s in the back of my hatch.....i have it ghetto rigged right now.... with the speakers connected to the front ones...... just wondering if anyone knows what are the rear speaker wirres.. [93 civic hb]


ive tried messing with all the wires.....coulndt find em..... maybe my harness dont have rear speaker wires.... not sure but ussualy....what color wqould they be on this model?

Depends on what model hatch? i think i heard people saying that the cx ( I think ) 92-95 hatchs dont have factory speakers in the rear. only up front good luck it might help you.

 

older civic's don't have them either, but the wires are right there by the speaker holes taped to the metal.

BTW> When you hook this up, if you can't find the rear speaker lines and instead tag off the front lines, you HAD BETTER hook the speakers in series and not parallel or you'll run a really good risk of smoking your radio

 

Just run some more, stock ones are crap anyway

 

stock ones do suck and it wouldnt be hard to run new ones, but i'm pretty sure the wires are there, to answer your question, i think the white striped would be the positive and solid will be the negative
