Would anyone be interested in a nicely made Euro R intake manifold installation kit? This would include all necessary parts such as (throttle cable bracket, EGR cover, Idle Air control valve plate, and everything else needed for this to be a bolt-on item?

We can also offer the Euro R intake manifold unit with the installation kit together as well if anyone might be interested.

I will try (maybe tomorrow or saturday) to get some pictures of the installation we did on our H22A.

I would like to "test the waters" to see if this interests some of you.

It would help if you would also provide a before and after dyno. Many people will be interested since Skunk2 is taking its sweet *** time and ITBs are expensive. I know I would be.

 

im interested. in just the kit. i need the EGR block off late and a custom plate for the IAC so that i can use a 2 wire IAC and not a 3wire one. and also the plate that covers the top portion of the EGR and also the OEM ATR throttle cable bracket.

 

We will try to get some dyno data soon. I am still waiting to get my engine installed into the car and go through break-in procedure, but surely we will try to get a dyno run or two from both scenarios to see what gains are obtained.

Make sure that you price it under what JUN currently has their kit for. I think their kit goes for around $650 with everything included for the swap.

 

Actually, JUN's retail on this item is 98000 yen, which is $824.00 US dollars. I am definitely considering cost to make it an attractive and well-worth purchase.

The only thing that I'd be interested in would be a package deal(ie. the ATR IM and all of teh necessary parts to make it work). The more complete the install kit is the happier people will be.

 

Let me know, what kinda price, what are you doing for the fuel rail too?

 

We installed the Euro R intake manifold on my setup using the AEM fuel rail. We are going to check with the stock H22 fuel rail and see what needs to be done.

 

how much alone would be just for the kit without the Intake manifold? have u made a price yet.

 

also i talked to my cuzn bout the JUN cams . he told me Start out at TDC and the most he adjusted it to was about 5 degrees advance on both intake and exhaust and this was on a 13.5 compresion motor. so you dont have to worry about the valve clearence hitting. sorry took so long to get back with you , just been busy with school and havent had time to swing by the shop.

I'm also interested in such a kit. My main concern is affordability, since the mods required to make the ATR manifold work aren't impossible, just annoying. I'd like to know what you'll do about the fuel rail, in addition to the rest of the kit. Keep me updated!

 

the skunk2 manifold is out. it's for sale on many different sites, the best price i've seen so far was $371, it would probably be best to call skunk2 direct and get it through them.

OT, but: No it's not, we've been through this like 1000 times; NOPI even fooled me into thinking it was by posting it on their site like it was for sale. The sites that are selling them are taking what I was told were "pre-orders" with no real idea of when it will actually be available.

I'll tell you what, call the site that is "selling" them & order one. If you actually get anything anytime soon, I will be right behind you. But until then, I know that I've been waiting on their ******* IM for over a year now, and it's been MUCH longer for those who've had their car longer. As far as I'm concerned, it's never coming out...

Ok, go do it. I bet that you won't make power and in the end loose a helluva lot of power if you're going N/A.

As for the manifold, it sounds like a good plan. Though keep in mind that top horsepower will barely improve stock vs euro-r and the bottom end will suffer. It will have to receive a mild port job to release any of the power, but this goes the same with the Skunk2 manifolds. As for the JUN ones, retail may be in the high $800 range, but they can be had for the high $600 range.

 

the release date for the skunk2 mani is now supposedly October.
