spacers between fuel rail and intake manifold?
does anyone have a part# for these 3 spacers for an itr application, the dealer couldnt help me and acuraautomiveparts.org doesnt have them listed either.
thanks
thanks
If you are using the stock fuel rail, I dont think there are spacers for those. If you are using an aftermarket fuel rail, like an AEM, I think those come with spacers.
In the diagram below, the stud(#18) supports the fuel rail on the manifold and there is no spacer(atleast no spacer in the picture) so Im not sure if they come with spacers or not.

Maybe ITR's are the exception. They're listed on the GS-R manifold diaghram.

I think he's talking about the plastic "spacer" things that go between the fuel rail bolts and the "holes" on the IM that prop up the rail......am I right??

I think you got it. those pieces look familiar.

Bottom line...
GS-Rs have the spacers
ITRs don' have the spacers
The spacer we are referrign to is a brown plastic thing about 7-8mm thick and goes between the fuel rail and the intake manifold.

yes those are the spacers i am talking about. a friend of mine had a set for the gsr that were too thick. if it makes a difference the motor is jdm b18c-r from 1997. there is about a 2-3mm space.
... how far are the injectors suposed to seat into the manifold? should I be able to rotate them with alittle pressure or are they susposed to be very snug? i did not force them in very hard but they definatley did fit nicely into the gasket.
should i try more pressure to really push them down in there or will i damage them if they are not susposed to seat without the spacers? they are the stock injectors and like i said there is about a 2-3mm disatance for the fuel rail to seat on the intake manifold. thanks again.

You can still rotate the injectors when the fuel rail is installed.
You may wanna consider using washers instead. If insulation is an issue, then use nylon washers. It's an 8mm stud.

sorry for the confusion, the injectors were not seated fully, the rail didnt require any spacers like the gsr. thanks for the help
