I am new to the forums.

I just bought me a white 89 Crx for a daily driver. I have a 94 BPU Supra TT.

I love these little things and hope to learn all about them from you guru's.

I also was wondering what kind of gas mileage you get with this car?

You should be expecting 30mpg+ depending how you drive and the condition of the car. You picked a very reliable daily driver. Slow as heck compared to your BPU though

 

on my stock HF motor with 170k on it, i was getting about 45mpg mixed street and freeway

dx and Si get alot worse
about 28-35

 

Tight. The car has only 116K miles, which is low miles I guess considering age.

Its funny because I always liked the CRX and now I got one. I bet people trip out when they see me in the Supra jockin a CRX when it drives by.

As for the car, its going to stay stock. Plus, I dare not race it.

 

I have an 88 dx and i usually avg b/w 35-38 mpg...........On a trip to florida w/ A/C on i got a little over 40 mpg.

 

your lucky bro, i could only dream right now to own that engine you have in your supra, id like "it" in any car...
