High Flow Catalytic Converter
The inside diameter of the piping on the Random Tech cat is larger than that of the stock cat, but IMO not quite large enough, it's about 1.9", so it doesn't match up exactly to the 2.3" ID of my Mugen header's piping. But the cat itself is also far less restrictive than the stock unit (for what it's worth, I held it up before I installed it and I caould see through it easily), it's lightweight, & it's made of stainless, which reportedly (don't quote me) some other brands are not.
I got mine from Tornactive (I think) for like $215. I have more pics that I can upload to WTDR if you want to see more...
edit: Almost forgot, I've heard that the PowerCore cat is (supposedly, again don't quote me) just a Carsound with the flanges welded on...

Lisa, testpipes.com sells a 2.25" Car Sound with prewelded flanges to fit 5th gen ludes. You could contact them and see if they could set up a 2.5" Car Sound for you with the flanges. I'm not sure if they would do this but it wouldn't hurt to ask.
Alternatively, you could pick up a Car Sound without flanges for cheap and find a local muffler shop that will weld the flanges on for you. Kteller8 sells universal Car Sounds for decent prices.

Hey Final Flash....I see you have the oblong shaped flange welded on to the random CAT. I'm trying to figure out where to find that flange for my DC downpipe to attach to the Carsound I plan on getting. Where did you find that flange?
Yeah, I got a 2.5" carsound from testpipe and they will weld the flanges for you. Just tell them you have a 5th gen lude.
Just if your curious about the sizing for the 2.5":
Comparison to the stock cat:

You'll have to put up with a higher db level in your car. Doesn't bother me though as I'd rather have the performance.

I got it from Tornactive. Maybe I don't understand the question, but stock/aftermarket header or whatever it bolted on just fine Tuesday.
