could just be an estate sale or someone selling it quick.
I'd check the VIN though

I watched the time expire with no bids on a 97 R on ebay the other day. The starting bid was minimum 15500, and the damn thing only had 15K on it.

I just tried it and it gave me the same message. I think dont think kbb and sites like that track limited production cars.

Not ture, I just used edmonds to look up a 97 itr and it came up with 13,200 for the said car with that milage. Nice car if its clean, I might pick it up
... Only thing is hopefully he's the orginal owner, they always take care of their cars better for some reason.

Sites like Edmunds and Kbb take a selling price and depreciate it by a specific percentage each year. That can be accurate for many mass-market cars, but they can be very inaccurate for low-production cars like the ITR and the NSX.

hahahahahahaha
isn't it ironic how such a low price might scare people away...as everyone here thinks there is something suspicious about the car...
i'm inclined to think there are a few idiots out there who have no idea what the value of their car is...

I agree with this...
If that car was even remotely close to me, I would check it out...

Simple. That's what the car is worth. The inflated price of ITRs is a result mainly of enthusiests. We know the car is sweet thus we pay wayy more than we should for it. The average person sees a year and miles, a 97 ITR should be bought and sold for ~13K. A 2001 SHOULDN'T BE GOING FOR STICKER. (I make a rare expection for the hott *** 97 ITR w/ 25 miles, that is a collectors item) It's our own faults we pay the inflated price. If no one on h-t buy a ITR for a super high price, they wont sell, prices get lower, to where they should be and everyone is happy.
I heard someone called them, I think yoshi, and they said something like the AC is broke. If it really is an old lady, I wonder if she knows it didn't come with AC. Maybe she had it put in as an option though. That would suck to pay of an an AC intall on a 97 R then have it not work. 50lbs of nothing at this point.

Yeah, and a little old lady would surely go out of her way to get a license plate that reads OUR R

if you guys read carefully, it says that it had been an old lady's daily driver "up until recently"... so what do you guys think? is this guy who is selling the car the original owner? or did he buy it off of the old lady?

I missed the "up until recently"... part. Still, to me it would be more believable if it was an old man previous driver, as I've seen a few driving GSRs. Not sure how many old ladies enjoy driving a MT.
I guess requesting the vin # and checking on that is the best bet, especially with the *very straight frame* comment.

True, but Market dictates the price as well. If no one is going to pay 13500 for it, then they'll have to drop the price, or put it into a different marketplace....I know it would sell for more here.
