Default A good trade??? need 2nd opinion...

someone the other day offered to trade me his 92 vx originally red now painted blk outside only no jams/eng.compartmnt. it has a primered body kit( not too fond of), primered spoon replica duckbill and mirrors and 17 adr rims. the car has primer spots on pass.rear quarter and door and the drivers quarter has ripple in it. interior is stock with cd player, amp, sub. the motor is stock with 113k. I have a 94 black del sol si with d16y8 (60k) and 95 gsr's pretty much stock with a dented drivers fender which i have that need painted and back bumper needs paint due to flaked paint from lady that i got it from backing into something but no damage to bumper. it has a deck and speakers but thats it....let me know if this is a fair trade or not. i dont really want to do it..but just wondering.
thanks in advance...

OMG keep the Sol !

do you know how slow a stock VX is ? even if it has Rims and a body kit, it's so not worth it. your still going to have to paint the rest of it, so why not fix your car instead ? it's just a fender and a chipped bumper. he has to repaint the front bumper too, plus skirts, rear bumper and passenger side. plus the jam, jams are expensive du to labor, it's a bitch to paint.

is he giving you any money with this trade ?

I love my hatch and all, but that does not sound like a good trade to me. If he wanted to throw $1k-1500 your way, it would make it worth your while. I would hold out and try and find a better deal else where.

Sell the Del-Slo on autotrader or yahoo (very effective tools depending on your location) and use the same websites to find yourself a better condition (maybe one that an old lady drives ) Hatch. That dude knows allot more than you do obviously, but thats why you got H-T (called for backup) hahaha
