What about the regular civic ex, dx, lx....isn't their radiator the same? As far as I can tell the only difference I saw when doing my swap was the Si radiator had a bigger connection point for the radiator hose.

I believe those (ex,lx,dx) are all single core....take a look at the thickness of the radiator core, they look very similar.
