What do I need to do concerning the install of my AEM CAI? I am getting it in a few days and I remember you guys talking about it rubbing on the AC lines or something like that. If I need any extra parts I want to go ahead and get them ahead of time. Thanks in advance.

 

mines when i install it ..i didnt have no problems with any rubbing of some sort

 

u cant mount it without it rubbing on something...pick either the AC lines or radiator overflow tank to rub against (youll understand when ur installing it and trying to fit it down there)...i chose the overflow tank because its plastic...i just put a piece of cloth between the two things and it works fine in preventing rubbing..

 

When I installed mine I didn't have any rubbing on anything. I don't know what I did "wrong" but I have a good 1" clearance on all sides...

I did have to go buy a short length of hose, becaouse one of the ones in the kit is too short. Does anyone know if they have corrected this? (I believe it was the breather hose from the valve cover...)

 

Nothing rubbing on my car either.
