Default how to hook up an ipod to a jvc headunit?

this is actually for a friend of mine, he has a jvc headunit and would like to hookup his ipod to it! we checked the headunit and there are no input conections. he was thinking of going with a fm modulator but was wondering would the quality be shitty? sorry for the basic question and he would really apreciate any help you guys can provide

If he has changer control, you can buy an adapter for like 12 bucks that turns it into RCA's That is by far your best option, I guess that leaves the FM modulator as the only other one, Not as good as RCA's but decent, just like if you have full reception on FM, the Radio signal won't be as good as CD but you'll hear the music.

jvc part # KSU-57 will do the trick.
