I did the time trial during Hyperfest (1:31:XX laps). The only car to beat me was:

There was a turbo or supercharged S2000 that would of won (he was first during practice), but he kept breaking on the timed laps, so he didn't get one clean lap.

R-speed was rolling deep with the R & D stickers. Doing a little advertising to help out R & D during Hyperfest:

I was the driver of Marcs car. It happened during a Hyperdrive.

Basically, lost control of the car when I tried to avoid rear ending a E46 M3 that was braking in mid corner @ T4. And no, I wasn't pushing the car nor myself. I was taking a glorified parade lap to get a feel for some of the goodies that Marc has on his car. I just got owned by superior M3 stability control.

 

Ouch that sucks...... sorry to hear about your car Marc.

why because the car went off the track do you assume the driver was overdriving the car?

Glad to hear everyone's okay. I heard about some incident with an R and M3, but I didn't know who's car it was. Sorry to see that Marc, that is,er- was a really nice ride....

 

Marc, sorry about the car but it's good to hear you and Jamie are both OK.

BTW: Are you and the R-Speed crew going down to VIR north Aug 2nd and 3rd?

wait.. have you even put your car on track? I seem to recall you not doing so because you are scared of wecking the car? (no, that's not meant as an insult).

If that's the case, how did you become expert enough to know the driver was overdriving and went off versas one of the many, many other things that could have caused it? All that excellent analysis from a picture of a slightly damaged and somewhat dirty hype-r.. Speed Channel needs to hire you.
