Would there be any reason i couldn't get an intake for an EX being as how i have a dx? Would i not be able to because of the dohc engine?

 

What year is your DX and why would you want an EX type intake if you have a DX?

 

it's a 2000, but nevermind because i found a v2 for a dx on ebay. At first i couldn't find one. Thanks.

if i get the components like the air intake and whatnot, would i have to replace it if i get a sohc vtec head?

 

you want to put a SOHC head on a DOHC block....Put on your flame suit.

Where do I start. The EX is not DOHC first of all. Secondly, the DX has the vertical throttle body, while the EX has the horizontal. And you cannot swap a DOHC head on your DX block, however you can swap the EX head on because like i said it is a Single cam just like your DX. Better?

 

Yeah i know i can't put a dohc head on a sohc block. I don't know where dengar got that from. I was just going to replace the sohc with a sohc vtec.
