Newbie Questions....
So I know nothing about Hondas, I'm a V-Dubber through and through, I joined this forum to learn more about Honda...Most of the Honda people in my area are concerned about how they can make thier car light up like a Christmas tree...anyway what is EG? EK? And the different letter designations?...thanks in advance, I hope I'll enjoy my time here

I hope that you learn alot about hondas here. Best advice to give you is to use the Search button. Search for anything and you shall find my friend. Topics about anything I bet.

Those letters are for the Japanese chassis, but it's easier to just say any 92-95 Civic is an EG.
To get technical, just look at the VIN plate and it will tell you...
92-95 hatches are EH_, Si is EH3, DX, VX, and CX are EH2....it gets too complicated to say, Check out my EJ8, or my EM1, or my EH3, EF8, DC2, etc etc.....it sounds technical and makes us feel smart.
Kinda like saying MK1 or 2, etc....E36, E30, E46, blah blah
