engine problems... cranking to fast, and no start.
Any ideas? I blew a ignition coil, but once I replaced it, the car would only crank really fast and funny sounding. It won't start though. I have spark and fuel. Please help me get my baby back on the road.
It's a D15 Sohc motor, so only one cam. I'll crack the cam timing case and check it out. How could that slip out of alignment tho?
I have spark though. the rotor is a little loose, but the spark is healthy. This has happend before but I took it to a shop to get raped to the tune of $135 bucks! They never did really tell me what they did, just said something about re-presurizing the cyl's. ringing any bells? anybody?
actually, I threw a timing belt. New motor. There is no time like the present to drop that B16a in my 91 civic SI. Just two more payments and it's mine, but it's in my possesion right now.

i had this problem as well one point in time, do a valve adjustment, and you will get it to start, if you dont want to do that and see if you need to do one, do a compression test, if you dont get compression in any cylinder or only 2 cylinders, then you need a valve adjustment, if that doesnt work, then something is wrong electrical
