If the car runs on purity of sprit?

Ok, no more Karma Ghia jokes.

I wonder the same thing.
I get 27-30mpg, and have for some time now. I used to get (well documented for at least two years) 24-27 consistently. this coincides with the time that my R was totally stock. I don't know why my mpgs have jumped up. They are consistently better now.... and I started to notice a change several months ago, although I have had i/h/e for about a year now.

I really have no idea and haven't actually talked to someone who could explain it intelligently. Hopefully someone can 'enlighten' us. (damn, everything keeps coming back to buddhism!)

My last car was a 1974 Karmann Ghia.

It weighed ~2100 lbs. with me in it. I miss that car.

I haven't noticed a significant change in fuel consumption from modifying my car.

I wanna build one of those as a side project.

I miss mine so much.

If you're doing it for a fast-***, fun car, I'd suggest a Beetle. The Ghia's exterior trim, body and interior parts are rare and expensive, when they exist.

But the Beetle doesn't have 1/100th the charm of the Ghia. If that's why you want one, well, I can't argue.

It will increase your MPG, but ya also gotta remember to drive the same way as when stock to see the differnce.

But really how can ya drive the same way when the car just got faster,

What is happening is that your reliveing the stress when you put IHE on a car an so it will breath better- Hope that sounds right.
