B18c1 Supercharged vs. my D16y8 Supercharged
We both have superchargers, however, his B18C1 is supercharged @ 6psi, my D16y8 is supercharged @ 9psi.
My question is, why does the supercharger scream so much louder on the D16y8, whereas on the B18c1 you can hardly hear it?

cause more boost means it spins faster so it will be louder. same with my friends y8 JRSC at 8psi and my fried with B16JRSC at 6psi. more boost on JRSC means it is spining more to push more air.

That makes sense. I figured that, but just wanted an outside opinion.
My boy said that it was because my charger was smaller that it was louder. I said that doesn't make any sense.
