The topic is pretty self-explanitory. I'm thinking about painting my SI wheels and I just would like to see what some of you guys have done with this same idea. I plan to keep my polished lip. I'm thinking about colors such as gunmetal, black, or bronze. All with some flakiness for metallic look.

These wheels are going on a VSM EJ8 with CF hood, black painted OEM side skirts, and either black OEM style front lip or CF front lip.

I just need you guys opinions on this and if you have done this, could you show me to broaden my horizon on this topic.

C'mon guys I know this has been done. I have already been through the search process, recent and archived. I haven't seen anything like I described. Sure they were painted but none of the Si wheels had a polished lip. Please give me some feedback on this guys.
