Newb Swap question.......
I was just wondering if I am going to need anything else besides mounts, axles, the conversion wiring, and shift linkage to swap the 1st gen B16 in a EF (Si model). I saw this product that hasport makes that attaches right to the B-series tranny that keeps the cable and uses leverage to make the clutch work.....is this a necessity.
I know to have a couple of buck put away during the swap just in case something breaks....thanks for the help guys.

I just did the B16 swap. There where many things that came up that i thought i wouldnt need. Top & bottom radiator hoses, fuel line, throttle cable. The big thing that got me was the speedometer housing and gear. The one that came with my engine was hydraulic driven and i needed cable driven for my car. I am still trying to get my hands on one. The only place i have found is the acura dealership. Gotta buy it brand new though for like $120. There is a couple other misc. things that will pop up. My advise is to have a couple hundred $ set aside. Good luck with your swap
