Default need help making choices..

i drive a 98 DX coupe with 35k miles.

i need to lower my car and was thinking of buying some tein springs, i know i need to get aftermarket shocks along with it but my friends are telling me to screw the shocks and just use my stock shocks til they go out. what should i do? do i really need a camber kit?

i cant decide how much i want to lower my car, i know i want to lower from 1.5 to 1.7.

another question i have to about brakes, i want some rear disc brakes for my car and thinking about pulling off some off a EG sedan. my friends are telling me to just to get a big brake upgrade in the front and keep my rear drums. what should i do?

If you have the cash, **** the drums and get discs, or at least some ss braided brake lines. Anything more than 2 inches should usually get a camber kit. In my opinion, 1.5-1.7 does'nt really need a camber kit. But, if you do have the cash, I would get one just to have good camber and long tire life.

If you want to save money in the long run, just do it all at once. But a 1.5/1.7 drop could make your shocks last 6+ months depends on driving habits and road conditions. I would say with the kind of a drop, you wouldnt need a camber kit. Just get an alignment, cause toe wears tires more than camber.

About brakes, if you have the money to get rear disc go for it. Id rather do rear disc, then do the fast brakes 11" upgrade all around later down the line.

Lower your car correctly the first time with springs and struts. And why do you want Tein Springs? JDM?

Also get brakes from a 94+ Integra or a 99-00 Si
