Default Lost Motion Assembly Question

I have a very loud ticking sound coming from my B20 Vtec. The motor is still in the break-in phase with less than 100 miles. We tried doing valve adjustmests but the sound is still there. Another guy suggested my LOST MOTION ASSEMBLY are bad.
1. Does anyone know anything about LMA?
2. What is the LMA purpose?
3. What other symptoms might I look for to be sure it is the LMA that are bad?
4. Know any place I can get ITR for cheaper than $38 a piece?

I searched but did not get any useful info.

I would start there they explain LMA's and about getting them for under $38 each I would try ebay. I got all eight for $135 but they are rarely on there but I would just check every day. Hope that helps.

Push on the center rocker arm. If it pushes back, it's not the lma

They are $36.89 but thats for one. You need eight, thats $295.12+tax+shipping. Thats going to be around $350, I bought mine on ebay for $150 shipped. You could also buy gsr lma's which are cheaper...Look for rockets post in the all motor forum.

Someone on eBay is selling them very cheap, cuz I got mine there as well, seems like they were around $140 shipped for all of them.

Do you mean push down on the vtec rocker arm? Just making sure. Thanks.

I am having this problem too. 10-15 miles after a thorough valve adjustment, one, maybe two sound like they go out of adj. and I also here some sort of friction/possible wobbling. Its very frustrating due to this being a recurring problem having done 5-6 valve adj. within the past month
